Someone comes in and asks how much it costs and upon finding out it's $50 a month they respond "$50 a month? Why on earth would I join? I can go to the gym underneath my church they have a few machines and it only costs $5 a month! This is 10 times as much!"

The person focused on price is missing the value that the more expensive athletic club brings. The difference is a shoddy moldy gym with a few 30 old machines in a windowless low ceilinged basement, and a modern gorgeous facility and all it brings. The more expensive athletic clubs add value over the cheaper ones, far making up for the price difference. Cheap is rarely good. Good is rarely cheap.
